Essentially His : Double Meat Cheeseburger

Well, “the boy” is now 16 years old. Like many teens, all he wants to eat are hamburgers … specifically, cheeseburgers! He picked the restaurant for his birthday lunch - - - and guess who “catered” it! Mickey-D's! He picked McD's (eaten at home) because he didn't want to to be embarrased by servers at sit-down restaurants singing to him.

One of the gals I scrapbook with is taking cake decorating lessons. Trust me, she should be teaching the class! Sherry spoils us with a cake or giant cookie when we crop – so that she can practice her decorating. Oh what a sacrifice to help her out by partaking of the sweet yum yums! Ha! Anywho, I asked her to make a cake for Chandler’s 16th birthday … a cheeseburger. And boy did she come through! Here’s her masterpiece … the top & bottom layers are white cake; the middle two layers are chocolate.

When the cake is cut, it looks like a bun with two burger patties! How yummy does this look? It was the moistest cake I've ever eaten.

It's complete with cheese and tomato (in fondant), lettuce, mustard and ketchup.And there are a few fondant fries and ketchup at the base! And NO onions! lol !
