Yesterday was National Scrapbooking Day! 11 of us hunkered down at Kim’s Scrap & Crop in beautiful Denton, Texas from 10a-12 midnight. We settled in before the rain started and stayed until it was over … can you say 12:15am?
We were Jen, Cathy, LeAnn I, Sue, Stacy, Raven, LeAnn 2, Vicki, 2 of Kim’s local regulars & moi. Kim did it up for us! There were give-aways throughout the day/evening. Several scrapbook companies donated prizes and product for us all. Here's Kim, our crop hostess!
Check out all this “loot” I brought home! Not to mention a “few” things purchased in the store!
We had a delicious Texas sized sandwich for lunch with a variety of chips & sodas.
Here’s Vicki with her lunch!
We brought some edible goodies and some scrapbooking product to share with one another.
We each had our own table and comfy chair! Progress is being made to getting projects accomplished!
Dinner was broasted chicken, salad, and some yummy crock pot beans. Hunger got the best of me, so there is no picture of it! It came from a restaurant in Crum. Too far to go on a road trip from home, but not too far from Denton!
It was a lot of fun – and productive, too! I finished 18 pages – a 12x12 calendar and a 6 “page” wall hanging. Pretty sure we’re all looking forward to 2010 National Scrapbooking Day!!! Shouldn’t there be four a year?
